The primary functioning of the Bank is to Accept Deposits, to Lend for various activities & to do other Business as permitted under BR Act etc.
BRKGB Sponsored by Bank of Baroda, was established by Central Government In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 23A of the Regional Rural Bank Act 1976 (21 of 1976) by issuing Gazette Notification No. F No. 719/2011-RRB dated 01-01-2013, by amalgamating 3 Regional Rural Banks viz. Baroda Rajasthan Gramin Bank, Hadoti Gramin Bank and Rajasthan Gramin Bank, Sponsored by Bank of Baroda, Central Bank of India and Punjab National Bank respectively. The Head Office of the Bank is at Ajmer and it’s 12 Regional Offices are at Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Chitttorgarh, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Kota, Neem Ka Thana, Sawaimadhopur and Sikar.

All the officers have certain financial powers and administrative powers depending upon their positions. The delegation of financial powers of various grades of officials is decided by the Board of Directors of the Bank, which is revised from time to time, depending upon the organization's requirement and also Government / RBI / NABARD guidelines. The concerned sanctioning authority takes decision to sanction a loan or otherwise on merits of each proposal
Duties of the Officers and Employee of BRKGB is governed by BRKGB (officers and Employees) service (Amendment) Regulations, 2013 and as amended time to time.
Duties of Officials on deputation from Sponsor bank, including the Chairman, General Manager etc., is governed by the extant Service Regulation of Sponsor Bank i.e. Bank of Baroda

Different powers have been delegated by the Board of Directors to the officers at various levels for smooth functioning.
Branches receive applications for credit facilities and recommend to the appropriate sanctioning authority. All credit decisions approved by any sanctioning authority are reported to the next higher authority for control & review purpose. The timeline is adhered as per the scheme norms.
All the functions of the Bank are subjected to periodic/Internal/Concurrent Audit/Statutory Audit as well as supervision of RBI u/s 35 of Banking Regulation Act 1949.
There is a well-defined organizational structure and clear system of accountability based on RBI / NABARD/Sponsor Bank/CVC guidelines. In order to exercise supervision and fix accountability / responsibility various control measures have been put in place. The system of exercising proper delegation of power and submission of control reports is in place and they are monitored by control officers and through internal Inspection.

Directions received from Ministry of Finance, Government of India, State Government, Reserve Bank of India, NABARD, Sponsor Bank and/or approved by the Board of our Bank are the guiding principles for discharging various functions. Sanctioning of Loans is the absolute discretion of the concerned sanctioning authority of the Bank and such discretion is exercised, after taking into consideration the relevant facts and circumstances of each case. Information is available under “Products” tab available on Bank’s official website. The Board of Directors take decision on introduction of various Banking products.

Regarding the core functions of the Bank i.e. accepting deposits and sanction of loans, the norms for deposits / advances, is displayed on the Bank's website.
Regarding sanction of loans, each officer of the Bank will consider loan proposals and take decision in terms of the scheme of delegation of powers, on the merits of the proposals. All the officers of the Bank are expected to discharge their duties and responsibilities with integrity and due diligence.

Bank has appointed various committees for different purposes. Following are some of the important Committees managing the key affairs of the Bank:
